Hello
I look after my husband who had Dementia.
Unfortunately he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease some years ago and it has very much caught up with him mobility and voice affected.
Anyone experiencing similar infliction?
Thank you

Hello @JuneV and welcome to Talking Point. I do not have direct experience of looking after someone with Parkinson's and Dementia however my husband has Lewy Body Dementia and some of his symptoms would be similar. Have you contacted your local SALT (speech and language therapists) team to see if they can help with his speech.
I am sure that other people will be along with suggestions.

Hi. I too take care of my husband. He was diagnosed with PD 17 years ago and developed dementia about 3 years ago, and these last 3 years have been the worst of my life. I’m new here. I’m just looking for some connection with people dealing with the same issues.
