Hello all
I have been diagosed with MCI back 2016 ,although on a recent visit to Doctor she said I was Diagnosed with Dementia 2015 ? my ACE 111score was 80/100 and mini ACE 22/30 so confused as to why I have been told a Dementia ? I cannot recall any other tests ,except for MRI showing Hippocampal formations low for age ,not grossly atrophic. Confused !

My husband`s score was 23/30 when he was diagnosed with Alzheimer`s.

I know from reading posts on this forum MCI can lead to dementia.

If you are so confused about your condition, do you think your doctor would give you an appointment where you have the opportunity to discuss it in detail to help you understand it better?

It`s not fair people should be left to work things out for themselves.
