I have joined this Forum because my husband has Korsokoff Dementia, which was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago and has been in hospital + care homes ever since. It has now got to a bad stage, where it is hard to converse with him, as his interest in life has gone. The Carers seem to do everything for him now, as he is getting worse. I would like to talk to others who are also involved with this Dementia and any advice that can be given. I have been told that the symptoms get worse, but have never read that this happens...is their any medicine or supplements (he is on Vit Bs now) that can keep it stable. He is only 70 years old !!!
