I have rang social services many times because my mum needs carers at least 3 times a day but after 5 months they still haven't been in touch

I am sorry to read about your Mum. This link may help to provide some help with getting a response from Social Services. Sadly, response times vary hugely from county to county in the UK, and you do have to keep on at them. But five months is a long long time - far too long. You have not said much about how your Mum actually is and how far the dementia has progressed. Is it you saying that she needs carers at least three times a day, or have they proposed this?
