Been caring for my husband since 2015. He is 94, I am 70. He is late stage now. Its hard.

Well, hello and welcome, your post made me think about how much our experiences differ.
I've been posting on here since 2013 apparently so my profile shows, as a carer for both wife and then mum, doesnt time fly while your having fun and I don't turn 70 until next year and by choice I'm off to work in the morning since mother nature made me a now former carer.
Work still involves me having a DBS and CRB
Checks as it need to cover schools as well as "vulnerable adults" and some of the people we work for makes all my years as a carer seem so much worthwhile when they have no one else to care.
Don't ever think that what you're doing isn't appreciated by if no-one else is on here. K
