Hello,Im new to forum

I was diagnosed in 2022 with vascular dimentia. I'm having a Pet scan in April to check Amyloids. I might have Alzheimer's.
I'm concerned about not remembering who my family are.
What stage might this happen?

Hello Rita and welcome to the Dementia Support Forum. I am sorry to read about your Vascular Dementia and that now that you might also have Alzheimer's. Many people with dementia worry about not remembering their family members however every person with dementia will be different and not every person will forget their family members. I would suggest that you take your time to get used to your diagnosis and try not to worry too much about what may or may not happen.
