My husband has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment and is awaiting a brain scan.

Becoming a carer for a spouse is tough and a steep learning curve in addition to the emotional turmoil

I am sorry to read about your husband's cognitive impairment diagnosis. Becoming a Carer is a tough ask for sure, there's no hiding from that.
