A lovely neighbour passed this over the fence earlier, she’d made them for the church so instead of going to waste is giving them to neighbours.

Just seen Grannie G's and Just Me's I don't know how you do it but one day I hope to be more technically adept!

Happy Easter to you @MaNaAk, enjoy your Easter treats. I am ashamed to say I've almost finished the box of Thorntons chocolates that my mum gave me. Still have 3 eggs from friends and a tin of shortcake biscuits though, and if I get desperate there's a bar of dark cooking chocolate as a last resort.

Dear White Rose,

I have taken a look at the frozen meal I bought from a local shop today. It is a specialist shop and the food isn't the average supermarket frozen meal. The lamb moussaka is just right for one but the sticky toffee pudding, which I assumed would be in two separate tubs, is really for two people so I will just have to put it in my 'separate compartment'. I have a 'separate compartment' for desserts and if I'm not careful after a few months I won't just have long hair I will have a bigger stomach!

I don't think you'll be the only one with a bigger stomach @MaNaAk , between lock down and Easter goodies we're all going to be a few pounds heavier when this is all over. I'm trying to keep busy and do a couple of cycle rides each week.

Dear White Rose,

I hope you had a nice day. I went for my hour's walk and I came and the meal complete with the entire sticky toffee pudding. Tomorrow more Easter treats and why not in this surreal atmosphere.

Enjoy the rest of Easter

Wow - a chocolate orange - we got a beautiful knitted basket with an egg in from a neighbour - might well have been intended for church and we got 4 knitted chicks with cream eggs in from another neighbour - which I she did for all the neighbours and was intended to cheer us up

I know I thought the knitted bunny/chick was great and when I saw a chocolate orange ?.
Your basket and chicks sound lovely too, I wish I was creative.

I hope you all had a reasonably good Easter. I did my hourly exercise by going for a walk which allows me to enjoy the many Easter treats I have although I did feel a bit sad this morning as I remembered dad's last Easter which was fantastic. Last year I took dad out twice and this year as I predicted I heard nothing from my invisibles but I phoned several friends who were on their own and we were all quite happy. I've still got plenty of Easter treats to enjoy and I hope my neighbours enjoyed theres.

Well done on staying positive @MaNaAk, the special dates will bring back memories of your lovely dad. My dad died 5 years ago, he didn't have dementia it was lung cancer that got him. I still miss him, it's not so painful of course, time heals as they say, but I think of him often, especially everytime I hear Tina Turner's Simply The Best or Neil Diamond, his favourites!
