Photo taken May 2008 in Kerkyra, Corfu with dementia still at the 'is it?' stage.
I've already posted that in 2009 on holiday in Agios Nikolaos, Kalamata everything changed dramatically.

Not all holidays were in foreign climes, this is a memory of one in the Lake District - she was a foot shorter than me.

This is my partner, he has vascular dementia. we use “say chocolate” to get that big grin. 😆

Staying with his family I was especially chuffed because I had been loaned the fringed cowboy jacket for the evening. I was even happier the next day when I was leaving to go home on Eurostar and they said I could keep the jacket. I imagined myself as Doris Day as Calamity Jane whenever I wore it. Of course now I don’t go anywhere to wear it and it weighs a ton!

I don’t think I could ride a horse with one leg over the pommel like that though!
