We lost our father who was mums carer, she has Alzheimer's.

She has gone into local authority assessment care.

My dad didn't leave a will, only his name is on the deeds as the owner of their house.

Can anyone please advice if this passes automatically to my mum to pay for her future care costs ?

We already have power of attorney for mum.

Thank you.

I would say it will pass to your mother and then become part of her assets.

This is what happened when mum passed away and everything went to dad. I am very sorry to hear about your dad and of course you will now be next of kin for your dear mum.
