I knew my Dad’s wishes before he had dementia & he never mentioned it again.
If you feel you want to discuss it now then do so.

If you are in a place that you want to tell someone your wishes when you come to the end of your life, do so, or at least write it down while you can.

@Jorbin i think Jesbow gives good advice here.

If you are in a place that you want to tell someone your wishes when you come to the end of your life, do so, or at least write it down while you can.

Is there anyone you can talk to about your wishes?

I wish mum had talked to me about what she would have wanted. By the time mum got to last stages I just had to go with what I thought/hoped were her wishes.
If you write it down, please give it to someone for safekeeping. I know that mum had written down directions for her funeral, including hymns and what to do with her ashes, but I never found it. I can only think that when she got to the late stages she got confused and threw it away.
