When does a PWD want to discuss their end of Life plan?

I knew my Dad’s wishes before he had dementia & he never mentioned it again.
If you feel you want to discuss it now then do so.

Never while they are a pwd! It’s a thing to do long before dementia comes along.

Is there anyone you can talk to about your wishes?

I wish mum had talked to me about what she would have wanted. By the time mum got to last stages I just had to go with what I thought/hoped were her wishes.
If you write it down, please give it to someone for safekeeping. I know that mum had written down directions for her funeral, including hymns and what to do with her ashes, but I never found it. I can only think that when she got to the late stages she got confused and threw it away.

My dad told me early in his illness what his wishes were. He also told his GP.
