Hi I was wondering if anyone has heard of or has a diamond bus pass?
I failed my driving assessment a few weeks ago & have since bought an electric pushbike to get about locally on If I want to go a little further then it’s going to meam bus rides. At our ‘Active8’ group (run by my dementia support worker) someone told my husband that we could apply for the bus pass. I’ve printed the form off but am unsure of what proof would be best to send? Thanks in advance

Sorry @PJ I haven't heard of this. I don't think it's a national thing, is it? Perhaps relates to buses in the Midlands and North West?
Good on you for getting organised now you can't drive. It's not easy, I know from experience..... I'm trying to look at it that it'll help me get fitter....well, maybe!!
My problem is another health issue but the effect is similar.
Good luck to you, and I'll be interested to hear any replies.
Lindy xx

Hi ah right maybe it is just a North Somerset thing Apparently it’s something available to all ages whereas most are for pensioners. I will let you know if I manage to get one.
By the way, the electric pushbike is amazing especially as I have quite a weak back and legs.
I hope you find your way about without a car too.
