It looks like a wonderfully Utopian model for dementia care, which is conceivably workable for people at the milder end of the spectrum, but I see scant consideration in it for the needs of those with severe dementia.

Yes, it isn't clear from the piece how care changes with the acute needs in the later stages.
Of course, that may be the reporting rather than the reality and I would be cautious about drawing conclusions.
The village isn't far from us. I'll try to find out more.

Agree with that. Also impossibly expensive for the majority. But it may give pointers on better care which could be put into practice elsewhere. I thought the article was beautifully written and found it very touching.
