Hi there
Some months ago now my partner of 22 years starting telling terrible stories about me ...some were so outrageous
She worked in a charity shop so some believed her ....I have tried to stop this but she was out of control ....even giving a police statement
Told them so many untrue horrible story's
She has had 3 assessments & a brain scan
Were now awaiting results
She is angry about assessments as said the accusations were all true
Taking her clothes
Looking at her paperwork
Controlling her
I was even leaving her
None of the above is true ...I had to have locks fitted g
For her bedroom & walk in wardrobe to keep me out ...sleeps with the keys round her neck at night
Now for approx 5 weeks She hasn't been in charity shop & has been so clingy
I cant move
Our relationship is rock bottom now as I feel so low all the time
Paranoia is still bad
Is this behaviour familiar to anyone
Thanks for reading xx

Hello @mal66.

There are many challenging changes in behaviour with dementia and they are really difficult to manage.

I think what you describe and similar will be familiar to many and I hope others will offer their support, probably not tonight because it`s quite late but maybe tomorrow.

I hope this link will help you.
