Has anyone else read the article in DM today re: Dementia?

The tag line was 'Are scientists on the verge of beating dementia' .
It was an interesting article about research at various universities and numerous theories. I was pleased to see the 3 page article in a tabloid paper.

Theories is all they are at the moment. I don't read that paper anymore out of principle, sorry.

No I agree Beate, I think the problem is such articles can raise hope when in reality they are a long way off anything concrete but good to see at least it is on the agenda. In the same section a few pages on I read that having sex can unblock your nose- I dread to think how but it shows that the articles are quite random!

Good to hear that the DM is raising awareness, someone once said all publicity is good publicity... just so long as it's not in the "wearing yellow wellies causes cancer" vein...
