Hi there I'm looking for some advice . I currently claim Carers Allowence for my dad. How would that change if he started having council carers come in to give his meds but I still did the rest

The eligibility criteria for Carers Allowance - in respect of the time spent caring for someone - is 35hrs weekly so as long as you are still spending at least that amount of hours caring for your dad weekly, even if council carers are coming in, then you will still be eligible for carers allowance. Carer's Allowance
Apply for Carer's Allowance - money to help you look after someone who needs to be cared for. Apply online or use form DS700.
