Cardiff half marathon

My grandaughter has seen the decline in my husbands health which has accelerated the last few weeks,and has decided to run in the Cardiff marathon Sunday.. She has raised almost £500 towards Alzheimer's charity.It's only when a person experiences a close family member or a friend with dementia that they realise what a cruel disease it is,affecting not only the person suffering but also changes the life of all those around them. My husband is now receiving palliative care at home as he has late stage heart failure too. I have found this forum a great help in the past and will be thinking of you all. I just hope with more research Alzheimer's will be controlled or even eradicated in the near future.
