Alzheimer's Society publishes a large range of information that is designed to support people with dementia and their carers. This includes factsheets, which you can view online at www.alzheimers.org.uk/factsheets, as well as books and booklets.

The Reader Panel is a group of volunteers who review Alzheimer's Society publications to make sure that the information is relevant, appropriate and easy to understand. Over the last year, we have received lots of excellent feedback, comments and suggestions from members of the panel, which has had a great impact on the quality of our information. We'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has been involved.

There are lots more publications to review this year and we would like to increase the number of volunteers on our Reader Panel. Ideally, you are someone who has experience of caring for someone with dementia. And while you have probably built up a lot of knowledge on the topic, you don't need to be an expert - your experience is what we want to tap into to make sure the information is relevant, engaging and easy to understand. We will send you the information by email or through the post along with a brief that gives some guidance on doing the review, and then you send back your comments to us.

If you are interested in helping the Society in this way, or would like to know more, please contact Liz Riordan on 020 7423 3672 or email elizabeth.riordan@alzheimers.org.uk.
