It made me smile a bit.
I was receiving carers credit ?, the thing that tops up your pension payment.
When mum went into a home January of last year I informed them so they could stop it
I received a call from DWP this week saying they had been notified that mum was in a nursing home ( a recent move and just started receiving FNC one of which must of triggered it).
Anyway, I explained that I had notified the change last year somehow. She then said that she saw an email on my records and asked for time to read it. It was an email dated from Jan 23 to inform them that I had phoned in a change of circumstance.
They need to get their act together.
