Hi everyone,

The Research team invites you to take part in the ROADMAP survey - please see below for more details :)

Invitation to participate in the ROADMAP survey

We cordially invite people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia and their carers to complete the ROADMAP survey.

This survey aims to obtain views on the importance of different aspects that relate to these conditions so then meaningful change in disease progression can be assessed.

Aspects that we ask you to assess in relation to meaningful change include: memory and thinking abilities, behavioural symptoms, use of health and social services, quality of life and the quality of the carer’s and family’s lives. Changes in aspects indicate that the disease is getting worse and it is having a negative impact on your lives.

Identifying the most important aspects to consider will help researchers develop treatments and other interventions to meaningfully delay the most negative effects of MCI and dementia, so then people with dementia and their carers may, as much as possible, live their lives as they would like to live it.

Researchers from leading European academic institutions, industry partners and organisations such as Alzheimer Europe work on the ROADMAP project. The overall aim of ROADMAP is to effectively use Europe-wide real world evidence (RWE) data to improve the lives of people with dementia, focussing on AD, and to prevent individuals from developing the disease. Examples of RWE data sources include: anonymised patient healthcare records, disease registries and activity trackers.

Please click here to participate in the survey, which should take 5-10 minutes to complete. It closes on 5 March at 5.30pm. Please contact wp2.survey@roadmap-alzheimer.org if you have any questions.
