Sumi has just told me that I’ve had an extremely bad past three days but the fact is that I don’t even remember any of it or where the past few days have gone and even thought that today was Friday! Sumi said that I spent time at the computer typing but typing what I have no idea? And can’t even find any records of what I typed in my files, which to say is scary would be an understatement, but this is something ‘that of late’ I’ve been getting extremely concerned about as unlike the majority of people with dementia at home I don’t have anybody out here with adequate English that can proof read and edit whatever I’ve written.
Apparently I’ve been wondering around in a complete daze and kept asking Sumi “What am I doing, Where are we going” my insomnia has been very bad as well and Sumi said I’ve been awake, up, and dressed by 1am each night and when I did sleep it was only for short periods ‘cat naps’ which caused me to have horrendous nightmares, Sumi said she has no idea as to what caused the sudden deterioration and frantic confusion although has since said it might have had something to do with all the tremendous noise outside the house this past week from local wedding ceremonies!
Fortunately I have a hospital appointment tomorrow for a complete check up, scans, blood tests, and appraisal so will see what the doctor and specialist have to say… then I have my eyes checked again as my eye sight is getting very bad it’s as though I have a constant haze in them with a strange aching, and burning sensation which is very irritating all the time, the last time I went which was towards the end of last year the eye specialist said nothing could be done to improve my sight and that not even an operation or new glasses would be of any use, the fact is that my eyesight is deteriorating due to the Dementia and Diabetes, so now I need to go to the eye clinic once a month for check up’s and get some medication that “Might!” delay my loss of sight!
