After the BBC and County Hall, yesterday

After being on Breakfast TV yesterday, I had also been asked to go and speak at County Hall about Carer's issues.

Co Incidence that both were on the same day and quite shattering.

I have had an email this morning from one of the councillors to say that the Head of Social Care was of the opinion that there were only a couple of carers in the county with problems, - he was not alone in this thought either.

There is to be a meeting with myself and him ( and others),, but really, what hope do we have when a Head of Social Care has these thoughts?

Honestly! I think one way to inform these people is either a petition or better yet, a whole group of carers going in the meeting with you. I realize how difficult arranging that might be. Is there any way you could get in touch with other carers and get their support to press home the truth that there are many carers with the same problems?
