Hi,

My dad is 68 and has Alzheimer's he still lives at home with my mum. I visit a couple of times a week but every time I go round he accuses me of stealing things and wants them back, and how disappointed he is that I would steal them. He never says what I've stolen.
If I'm upsetting him that much being there do you think I should stop visiting him? I feel it may be cruel me being there if he really does think I'm a thief.

I was accused of many terrible crimes including stealing 10 lipsticks without tops (i should have just asked if I wanted them) and her maps!
I once said if I am so awful and such a thief why did she have anything to do with me. the answer "well that's because I am so much more forgiving and better than you are"!
You just can't win against dementia.
