Dear Izzie,

I feel so helpless in your plight and that no word of comfort is anywhere near enough. Do persevere, uphold what you believe in, even though your voice is not being recognized or heard. One day, in whatever distant future, truth will out. Better late than never in defending your mother. Log everything, keep knocking on all doors until someone opens at least one of them. Could you speak to your mother's vicar or your own for guidance or conciliation?
