Hoping the day ahead is tranquil and Dhiren remains comfortable. I doubt that your wet finger caused the wheezing. Love and peace to you all.
I agree with Deborah that it's unlikely the water from your finger caused the wheezing.

Sorry, I'm late catching up on your thread.
It is an awful time for Dhiren and you, Paul and your family.
Just try to be with him as much as you can at present, that's all I can suggest. Moistening his lips and just being there with him are important.

Dear Sylvia,
This sounds so similar to the last few days with my husband. My heart goes out to you.
I dipped the oral sponges in pineapple juice to freshen my husband's mouth, I think it works better than water.
I also used lip salve for his lips.
I hope today is a peaceful one Sylvia.
