I expect this has been discussed before but I would like to ask does anyone else find the holiday insurance an emotional nightmare. I don't like to upset my husband so I try to get it when he is not around. I looked on many web sites but that is all right if you want basic insurance. I thought I should inform them of my husbands condition and that he takes Aricept. I ended up going in the travel agents we booked the holiday with and they were sympathetic and helpful but the man at the insurance made it a bit of a chore. Is there holiday insurance companies that you can fill in details on line or are more sympathetic.

One of the companies I recently used was Saga Insurance, they will cover you for current illness such as alzheimer's,it cost me $46.00 for the two of us for a week, when we went to Portugal

Yes there is a travel insurance, Unique, which is excellent. I am sure that I found the site via the Alzheimers Society.
