Would someone please be good enough to explain this. I have a CHC meeting tomorrow with Discharge coordinator and Social worker in the hospital where my husband is currently. Nursing homes would not take him as they will not be responsible for him keep trying to get out of bed. He’s stage 5 advanced Parkinson’s, psychosis, hallucinations, dementia and a peri prosthetic vertical hip fracture and is not medically fit for any more operations. Do the NHS have a duty of care ? I am trying for full funding and 1 to 1 at night - he is not safe to be left. Thank you so much xx
