I am in the process of completing the NHS Continuing Care Checklist in respect of my mum. The ward sister told me that my mum had too many A scores and that several would have to be downgraded to B and C scores. Surely this cannot be correct ?

Any advice gratefully received.
Thank you

Sounds very odd indeed, but common sense seems to be out dated! I hope you get what you need.

If your Mum fits the A scores then she fits the A scores . It's criterion referenced, for God's sake!

You do have to read the wording very carefully, to make sure you've understood the differences between the A,B and C ratings for each category. Remember to show the worst case incidents - eg my Mum didn't always dance the can-can on the stairs but sometimes she did!
