Sectioning . Advice Needed please

Hello, my Dad has had dementia for a number of years and has been living in a Emi care home. Recently some incidents have occurred and the home/doctors decided that he needed a hospital stay and so he was sectioned under a section 2. He has spent the last 28 days in hospital , being assessed and has now been sectioned under a section 3 for a treatment plan and long term care planning. We are having a meeting with the nursing home next week who are currently holding his room ( we are self funding). Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of returning to a care home after sectioning. Feeling confused and worried that he might be in and out of hospital. Thank you
