I live miles away and it was my wife no me that was diagnosed at about the same age as you, but please be careful of any replies you get. Although it's quite cosy in here the internet is a bit like the wild west so you do need to be careful who you engage with.
There are organisations like the Admiral nurses who might be able to help (link below) or things like Dementia UK who have a Cornwall based presence.
