Afternoon!
Mum has Alzheimer’. Almost 2 years ago she moved to a care home. We have a full assessment for CHC next Friday. I have a copy of the checklist assessment. She was given 5 B’s. I think the mobility domain could have been an A as she is completely immobile, can’t change her position and is at a high risk of falls. She was also given a B for cognition. Maybe that could have been higher as she has frequent short term memory issues and little or no ability to make any choices.
I would love to hear other people’s experience and any tips would be great.

Hello and firstly welcome @sooloo3 to this friendly and supportive forum, There is a wealth of shared experience of dementia to be found here so I am glad you have found us.

I am sorry to read about your Mum. I'm afraid I have no direct experience of the current CHC, so cannot give any tips, but I'm sure others will be along shortly who do.
Please remember members here really do want to help and you will always find understanding and a listening ear.
