I’ve been a member of the forum for a couple of years, but this isn’t about me. I have a friend here in uk whose father is resident in Spain. She has LPAs for health and finance and currently pays two local women to look after him. They have a good relationship with her and with her Dad, but they are now saying he needs more help as he has been falling overnight. She used to be able to visit quite often but her circumstances have changed, she is now a carer for her husband. She is thinking her Dad might have to go into residential care.
Does anyone know how to start the process over there? She knows she’ll have to go over but would like to gather as much information as possible first
