Every issue our magazine includes real life experiences, and they'd like to hear from you.

This month they're asking:

What advice would you give to someone affected by dementia who's struggling due to the cost of living crisis?

For example:
  • Maybe they're finding it hard to keep warm because they're concerned about energy bills.
  • Perhaps they're worried about being able to travel to see a relative or friend with dementia who lives in a care home or on their own.
  • Or they might be unsure about where they can get financial support.
Is there anything that could hepl them deal with their situation, or about how they're feeling?

Please share your thoughts by the end of 4 January and they may be featured in the next issue of the magazine.

Thanks everyone :)

Look at yourself and what your own personal problems are, don't just take on board what you're being told are your problems by other people. Then cut your coat according to your cloth as we used to say: reserve what resources you have for what you decide is essential for you. We have to face up to and bear our share of the costs of preventing a vicious barbarian dictator taking over Europe again. Unlike our fathers and grandfathers, we are not being sent to fight and die to stop it happening, our houses and infrastructure are not being destroyed by him, but we should not expect to get away completely scot free.
