Good afternoon everyone,

Sadly my mother is law passed away in the early hours of this morning.

We hold a deputyship for her, do I need to contact them directly or if we use the tell us once system will they let them know?

This forum has been amazing the whole of our journey with her! And I thank anyone for all the advice.

So sorry to hear this news, @LJC10 . I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think the OPG or COP are included in the Tell us Once Scheme. You would probably need to notify them separately.

As said the "tell us once" package covers most things, so far I've not had a problem with utility bills in her name, seems so far to have worked for me.

It may have changed since I was mums deputy, but at that time the "Tell us once" did not include the OPG and I had to write and tell them that she had died.
