The daytime is easy but when evening come she wants to go home but she can’t I’ve had to resort to laying with her in bed and she settles but this isn’t ideal how can I help her settle better in the evening.

Thank you !! No she doesn’t she doesn’t understand why she had to move but she couldn’t manage the stairs and she was having accidents during the night and sadly we live over an hour away so sorted her out a flat easy access and a lot closer to us (within 5 minutes)

hi @beckybarnabee
welcome from me too
you might have a chat with your relative's GP as there may some meds to help her settle - and worth maki g sure tha new GP has a full picture of her situation
and do contact your Local Authority Adult Services for an assessment of her care needs as home care visits or time at a day centre may help
