State Pension and Nursing Home Payments.

Good Morning,
My Mother is currently residing in a Nursing Home due to Alzheimers/Dementia. She sold her home in order to fund the Nursing Home costs.

Is her State Pension considered to be part of the finances that contribute to her payments, or should these be kept separate and the payments should be made soley from the sale of her house.

yes, your mum's income, from any source eg Attendance Allowance, is part of the 'pot' of funds to be used to pay for her care
