Private Assessment

Hello, my name is Alison, my father in law has just seen his gp and is being referred to a memory specialist for more tests. We have been told 18 weeks wait, which by reading other comments, seems the norm! Does anyone know of anywhere in the East Anglia region we could go for a private assessment. He does not qualify for any help financially, we’re looking to try and speed the process up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am sorry to read about your father-in-law, it is always difficult when we have to wait a while to find out just what is going on with a loved one's health. However @nitram is correct and we are not allowed to make recommendations regarding health professionals. I do hope that you will find the forum useful in other ways, our members have a vast experience of dementia in all of its forms.
