How do I know whether someone has received my PM, please?

Hi if you go to the bottom when you write a PM there is a tick box
Request a read receipt for this message
Allows you to see when the message is read by its recipients


if you tick this it tells you when it has been read

If a person chooses not to send a read receipt they can do so and still read the message.

Thanks Jeany, I did as you says but then how would I know if I had a receipt?

Hi Chris , If you are sent a "P M " & it comes with a RECEIPT a "small POP UP BOX " will show up on the Screen before you read the P M & you have to point the mouse onto ok & then read the P M ( sorry have forgotten what it says on the "Pop up Box " )

Hope this helps & only found out because some body sent a P M to me & wanted a receipt
