Plumbing dilemma

I just had the plumber round to fix a broken toilet only to find that my husband had turned off the water and twiddled with the ballcock settings. I had asked him before I called the plumber if he had done anything to the toilet and he swore that he hadn’t.
He is out with his carer this morning, should I confront him with what he did, or just chalk it up to experience? At least I know now how to turn the water back on and twiddle with the ballcock to get a full flush. Maybe I should treat it as a plumbing work shop??

I think he would deny everything and be confused as to why you were making things up about him.
Thing is what if he does it again? Get the plumber to teach you how to reverse your husband’s improvement
