OH cannot sit still and constantly looking out of the windows or going outside in the day to wander around. He thinks people are coming in for drinks or a party every night, even if it is 10.00 pm! Is there a name for this please and how do I keep him still?

Hello @vernon, this walking about is sometimes referred to as wandering, although that implies lack of purpose. There may always be a purpose to the walking, although what that purpose is may be difficult to discover. There is a Society Factsheet about this and that can be read by clicking the second line of the following link
https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/get-support/daily-living/making-decisions-walking-about
https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/media/921

The behaviours in the evening/night are usually referred to as sundowning and this, and other behaviours, is mentioned in the Factsheet that can be reached by clicking the second line of the following link
https://www.alzheimers.org.uk/about-dementia/symptoms-and-diagnosis/symptoms/behaviour-changes

Anxiety can play a part in either behaviour so a chat with the GP may help. Indeed, if these behaviours have started suddenly an infection such as a UTI may have brought them on and the GP would be able to help with that too.
