Mum refusing meds

My mum has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s though she has been showing symptoms for several years. She doesn’t want any medication as she feels she doesn’t need it.
She doesn’t quite understand what is happening to her and isn’t capable of making an informed decision as she’s passed that stage.
In the past she has reacted badly to meds with stomach upsets so I suspect she associates all medicine with this.
Has anyone else faced the same problem?

Try to get it either in liquid form or hide it in yoghurt of mousse. Only crush after having spoken to a pharmacist - some meds are not meant to be crushed.

Thank you, I wasn’t aware you could get it in liquid form. I will contact her clinician to ask about this :)
