We have lived in our current area for 7 years with good care and support. My husband now wants to move back to Devon where we lived for almost 40 years. We do have many friends there who are aware that my husband is suffering from dementia. I am concerned that such a move would be disorientating and confusing for him and also am not sure that I could get the level of support and care now experienced. I want to make him happy but dread the potential problems that such a move could bring without of course all the issues of planning and packing etc etc. Would appreciate comment from anyone who has gone through this.
