Hi. My Daughter was diagnosed last December with a rare form of Vascular Dementia. We live in Spain, but Steph' worked in Gibraltar for the last 17 years. as she is no longer able to work we are finding it very difficult to get any help. She is not on the health system in Spain because she's too young and because she lives in Spain, Gibraltar can't help. She has just gone off her legs and has slept on the sofa due to the fact we can't get her downstairs, we live in an upside down house. I know this is not ideal for her comfort but really don't know what to do. Is there anyone out there that can advise?
Regards Mary....

Hello @Maremoo. Welcome.

What a dreadful situation for you. I`m so sorry.

My first instinct was to suggest you contact the British Consulate

I don`t know if they will be able to help but in such a serious situation I would hope they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Please keep posting. There are a few members who have had overseas experiences and they may be able to make other suggestions.

Welcome to the forum @Maremoo.

I’m so sorry to read about your situation. I don‘t know if this will be of much help to you as it’s in Spanish.
