I thought some of you might be interested in this website which provides simple to use phones - some for those with hearing problems or for those with sight problems. One of their phones also has a GPS facility on them which might be useful for those who wander.

I spoke to them today and they were really helpful and quickly addressed some of the issues that i had.

Some of those look very useful. I'm moving this to Resources as that is the most appropriate place for it.

I wish I could remember where we got the mobile phone for dad.

One thing we found is that dad, on his worst days when he most needed it, would forget to take his mobile out with him.

When he first mentioned concerns about forgetting where he was my hubby asked him if he would feel better if he had a tracker. So dad now has a seperate tracker which is in a bag zip tied in the walker bag so dad doesn't have to remember it. We can now check where he is at any time and, most usefully, it stores history of where it's been so we can build up a picture of dads habits.
