I heard someone talking about this on Radio Scotland this morning. They were talking about pre dementia grief.


I only caught the end of the interview so started looking for the guidelines/report quoted. I think this is it.

I think many of us here can identify with this. Lovely tho' it is to hear how Timothy West and Prunella Scales cope and remain so positive, this is more the reality of dementia for most people,

They just interviewed the lady who is featured in the BBC article. What she said just reflected so much of what is written by members on this forum.

She’s on again now. She’s talking about guilt and pre dementia grief. The Doctor, Adam Daly also spoke. The person who has a diagnosis, Willy Gilder, is talking about his worries over the future. He’s saying nobody has ever talked to him about dementia being a terminal illness and what the emotional impact could be.
