Can you give a fuller picture of your husband’s state of health and care needs. For example, does he need help with eating and drinking, getting washed and dressed and going to the toilet? Can he be safely left alone? Does he wander? Does he have hallucinations or periods of aggression? What is his mobility like?
Apart from the above, how are you coping? Do you feel burned out? Do you have carers coming in? Does your husband go to a day centre? Has your husband ever gone into respite care?
