CHC assesment in morning advice needed please

My BIL been in NH for 3months now . He was in a mental health assessment unit for 4months before that. He was section 117 for his own protection whilst in there but this was taken away on discharge an he was given CHC when he went into NH. Now we have assessment at the home in the morning with SW an staff at the NH. Is there anything we need to know? Im surprised that he is being assessed so quickly surely we wont have to have assesments so frequently in the future. Would appreciate advice an any comments from those of you that have been through this process before please. juniepoonie

Hi,

It is usually assessed at three months and if continued will then be assessed every twelve months.
