does anyone know if there is a connection between bursitis (inflamation of the shoulder joint in this case) which went with weakness of the arm, and occasional rare spasm of the arm like a jump} and dementia.
My husband is waiting to see a neurologist but has had two episodes of extreme pain in his rotor cuff (shoulder) with no apparent cause.

Hi @SaraKate .....I've not seen any connection made between bursitis and dementia, but I have no practical experience with a pwd so maybe others can comment better. I do think, though, that bursitis/rotator cuff problems often strike more often as you get older....I've had rotator cuff problems in both shoulders for no apparent reason apart from maybe overuse or an unwise movement. I hope you get some more helpful answers
