A shoe-maker and a technology company are teaming up to develop footwear with a built-in GPS device that could help track down "wandering" seniors suffering from Alzheimer's Disease.

Oh let it be so.My husband won't wear his med id and i worry about his delusion of wanting to go to another house...that doesn't exist.He sets off the house alarm day and night.He is a major flight risk..For this reason i have enrolled him to a secure care home .

I'm sorry to hear that. My Dad moves into a care home on Friday which has also been hard to deal with.

There was a time when we had a GPS tracker attached to him and for that period it gave a real sense of security.
