Timescale Deputyship

Hi quick question. Just sent COP20A and B back. How long after the 14 day required wait period does it then take for the Court to issue Deputyship. Just wondered what approximate timescale was involved. Thank you in advance.

I don't think you are looking at a short wait, probably months rather than a few weeks - though I arranged for LPAs, so may be different

You will have to wait for a "slot" in the court - its not just admin stuff - so it depends how busy they are. Its probably 2 or 3 months (or more)

When I did CoP application it took just over 6 months from the time I first applied until I received deputyship.
If it is urgent, you can request fast track.
